Tennis lessons are available from the tennis pro and staff. There are four parks within Pelican Bay. Commons is a 10 acre park and is the location of the administrative offices of the Pelican Bay Foundation, tram station, tennis courts, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts. Hammock Oak Park, in the northeast section, has tennis courts, open fields, horseshoe and shuffleboard courts.
Oakmont Park has bike paths and a children’s play area, as well as a preserve of turkey oaks. Ridgewood Park faces a lake and has a 10 station fitness circuit, picnic tables, and a children’s playground.
